Booking confirmation Agoda, 1104694385 Tuesday November 07, 2023. Yesterday night, I booked a king bed preference with two double beds as a less likely option. I checked in, in less than 30 minutes. The hotel knew they did not any longer have any king beds available, at the time of the booking. There were no king beds available and there had not been for quite some time. I specifically asked for a king bed and there were none. That is entrapment and false advertising. In the check in process at the hotel, I was informed by the front desk person that they would see about the room as, my condition, for the reservation was for a king bed. They took a further 1000 baht deposit, and without telling me that they had no king beds. They said, they were going to be see about the room being with king bed. Then she hands me the key and says there are no king beds and had not been any king beds since they filled up earlier in the day. The front desk person tells me that she has a room with two single beds. I had myself an infuriating experience after traveling 20 hours across the globe to have to deal with intentional deception, later in the evening (an hour after darkness), I asked for my money back and they said that's not possible, as I booked through Agoda. They absolutely refused. I got my damage deposit back and left without going up to the room. I went across the street and immediately got a king room at the White Palace, a little eclectic, but clean with a lovely, all lady massage business on the ground floor. After I checked in to my clean king room, I checked (not even ten minutes) from having crossed the street from the dishonest Spenza hotel at 88 Soi 15 Phetchaburi Rd, Pratunam, Bangkok, where I had booked with Agoda not an hour before, and upstairs in my room, at White Palace, checked with my bank customer service in the U.S., B of A and the booking had already been cashed by Agoda through Spenza's confirmation of receiving keys to their room by my bank. No hesitation at all. No customer service from Spenza hotel, but for deliberate dishonesty, and with a concentrated effort to grab the money and no customer service from Agoda. And nothing left but to dispute the transaction as a scam at a later date with the fraud department of my bank, Bof A. In the moment of my check in to Spenza hotel, that hotel had taken money out of my bank account back home and they knew that I would not be able to stop the transaction through my bank. So, why didn't the Spenza refund my money right then and there if they had that kind of occupancy of capacity and Agoda had already received my money in to their account ? I never received their room, only they pushed the key at me, then said, not even a sorry, but that, there were no king beds. When you do like that to the public, you do not deserve any customers. And you do not deserve to be in business. Spenza nor Agoda.

Booked spenza due its strategic location and excellent ratings, but the experience was beyond disappointing. Checkin: the tariff card placed at reception is misleading as it shows prices nearly half of what we paid. Then you need to sign a agreement confirming penalties for even linens getting dirty!!!! You again sign a agreement for loss of extra key!!! Even for full paid booking, you need to pay a deposit as they dont trust the guests. Breakfast: only 1 or 2 vegetarian items which too contain EGG or fish oil !! Only 1 type of slice bread. No croissants or brown bread. Tea/coffee without milk, available milk is ice cold. Me & my family had to go for our breakfast at a nearby restaurant even though we paid to the hotel. Next day i get a insulting memo stating the housekeeping has shared a remark that duvet cover has some stains/dirty. And inwill be penalised for repeat OFFENCE!! Being diabetic, i tend to sweat in sleep and that may have caused mild sweat stains, but THAT IS NOT ALLOWED!! Bring your own linens and bed linens!! There was a cockroach in the washroom and i shared the video and photo with the hotel, but there is no penalty on hotel for it, only guests are penalised!! Checkout: they make you wait for 20 minutes to check every item in the room before you are given back your deposit. I have travelled most of the world but such a wierd and degrading experience was a huge surprise that too in a city like bangkok. My opinion : such arrogant hotels must be avoided by all means.

We enjoyed our stay here while being away from home. It was closed to our local market but was famous for Asian people. Room was big and bathroom was good. Breakfast was delightful but too many people having breakfast.

Located not far from Centrepoint Pratunam and Baiyoke Sky Tower. This hotel is situated along whole stretch of massage places along both sides of the street in Petchaburi Soi.15. Convenience store 7-11 are also found on both right and left of it, and has attentive bellhop who opened the doors for you everytime. Friendly front desk and housekeeping staff as well. Just one bit to pick on though is the positioning of the shower tap. Have to be careful not to accidentally turn it down and you'll be scalded by the hot water. Hope that could be improved to prevent any mishaps.

We spent three nights here. The staff was so friendly, especially the receptionist who assisted us. Everything awesome.. The room was so spacious, and the bed was so comfortable. I will come back again.
